Cookie Policy

Last updated 25 October 2026.

This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used by RecipeYield, a service of Zest Delicious Software LLC, on this site (recipeyield.io) and on publisher domains that run our plugin.

recipeyield.io

We do not set an analytics or advertising cookie on this marketing site. CloudFront may process the request (IP address, user agent) to deliver the page. If we later add a strictly necessary cookie (for example, a load-balancer session), we will list it here.

Publisher domains

sponsor_ent — a first-party, HTTP cookie set by the publisher’s WordPress claim endpoint after checkout or passcode restore. It holds an ES256 JWT. Purpose: remember which recipe URLs this browser has paid to view without ads. Lifetime: a short-lived token (about 7 days) that renews automatically while the ad-free access is active.
sponsor_ent_1, sponsor_ent_2, … — continuation cookies if the token list would overflow a single cookie. Same purpose and lifetime. The plugin unions them; it does not drop recipes to save space.

These are first-party cookies on the publisher’s own host (www and apex are different hosts), not third-party RecipeYield cookies. The plugin verifies them locally and does not contact us on every pageview.

Stripe

Stripe.js and Checkout may set cookies on Stripe’s domain when a card is used. We do not control those; see Stripe’s cookie documentation.

How to clear

Use the “turn the ad-free setting off” link in the passcode or receipt email, or clear cookies for the blog in your browser. That shows ads again on that device even if the server-side entitlement still exists.
